Nordic Music Days is one of the world’s oldest music festivals, founded in 1888. 
The festival showcases pioneering contemporary music performances 
by Nordic composers, performed by leading ensembles and soloists from the Nordic region.
A new city is hosting the festival every year, and through this, 
everyone gets to explore the newest of Nordic music.

In my creative process I was searching for a trademark that could 
reflect the spirit of the festival as well as it’s story. 
Furthermore, I wanted to make the identity more appealing to young people.
To make sure to reach those goals, I located an archetype 
to be guidelines in the process and for the final output.
 
By making surveys and interviews with visitors and organizers,
I located the archetypes: The Rebel and The Explorer.

From the Norse Mythology we know Huginn and Muninn who are pair of ravens 
that fly all over the world, and brings the newest information to Odin.
